On this page we will list details of potential new groups. If you would be interested in joining or helping set up one of the possible groups shown below, or if you would like to suggest another new group, please contact the Groups Co-ordinator with the details.
June 2026 update
Following a survey of members, there is interest in having groups with the following themes:
- Book group on Zoom
- Book group that's not on a Friday
- Gardening
- Gardens and garden design
- Litter picking
- Local history
- Nature walks
- Play reading
- Shakespeare group
As with all groups, these will only run a) if there is sufficient interest, and b) if one or two members are willing to co-ordinate the group's meetings. Depending on the nature of the activity, some groups may be able to start with just a few members who agree a day, time and place to meet.
